As freewill spirits
we assume the role
of managers.
Information comes to mind
and we respond.
It’s a mostly automatic process
fueled by our education, experience,
and habits.
We can also take control
and consciously manage this process.
To consciously manage the flow of information, the most important thing to know is that information arrives on our mental doorstep split into two highly specialized complementary sources. In other words, it comes unassembled. Assembly is our job. Assembly defines. It makes us who we are.
The right hemisphere gives us a nonpolar perspective of our world, a vision of unity, of Oneness. The left hemisphere gives us a polar perspective, which is a view of separation, a view of the parts. When we understand the relationships between the many polar and nonpolar views and responses, harmony comes naturally. Until then, because the information coming from the two brain halves is so often radically different in character, it’s easy to become confused and conflict is common.
For most of us one perspective will be dominant. We will manage our life and information from its limited, biased viewpoint. But this only makes us specialists. At any moment we have access to either hemisphere and we have it through our mind.
Mind controls matter; the physical brain responds to the mind’s requests.
Ask your mind to show you the big picture, the context, and the right brain will respond.
Ask for an analysis and the left will answer.
You are in control.
